Lee has repaired and refurbished the original casement and sash windows in our Edwardian house, giving them a new lease of life and saving us the expense of new wooden frames. He is very polite and reliable, always turning up on time and has done an excellent job at a reasonable price. We have no hesitation in recommending him.

We recently had our sash windows and sills inspected and repaired by Lee Upson. The work was carried out and completed on time with a minimum of disruption to ourselves. The materials used were appropriate to the original specifications of the house (circa 1835) and of the highest quality. The workmanship was of equally high quality, delivered in an efficient and friendly manner. The final account rendered matched the original quotation exactly. We are completely satisfied with Lee Upson’s service and recommend him thoroughly.

Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Moss.

In our Victorian terraced house in Newmarket, we needed to have repaired a wooden sash window that had rotted badly over the years.  In fact, the rot was sufficiently advanced to make us wonder whether the window could be saved.

Identifying a person who might be capable of restoring the window was not an easy job. I made a lot of telephone calls and was eventually recommended Lee Upson by a window installation company in Bury St. Edmunds.

Lee arrived for a survey and stated – much to our relief – that the window was restorable.  He took measurements of the frame and sill and we agreed a date for him to return to do the work.

It was a job that demanded a considerable amount of skill because to replace only part of the frame and sill required accurate measuring as well as great competence in executing the installation and joining of the new wood.

I can truly say that once completed, the work surpassed all my expectations.

So I have no hesitation in recommending Lee, who is polite and friendly and goes about his business in a very professional manner.
