In our Victorian terraced house in Newmarket, we needed to have repaired a wooden sash window that had rotted badly over the years.  In fact, the rot was sufficiently advanced to make us wonder whether the window could be saved.

Identifying a person who might be capable of restoring the window was not an easy job. I made a lot of telephone calls and was eventually recommended Lee Upson by a window installation company in Bury St. Edmunds.

Lee arrived for a survey and stated – much to our relief – that the window was restorable.  He took measurements of the frame and sill and we agreed a date for him to return to do the work.

It was a job that demanded a considerable amount of skill because to replace only part of the frame and sill required accurate measuring as well as great competence in executing the installation and joining of the new wood.

I can truly say that once completed, the work surpassed all my expectations.

So I have no hesitation in recommending Lee, who is polite and friendly and goes about his business in a very professional manner.
